I have a very talented, but sometimes difficult OTTB and John has helped me bring him along, never losing patience, never being upset when Doc was 'having a moment'. I appreciate this tremendously. Five years ago, I decided to change from riding hunters to eventing, this has brought certain baggage that John has deftly navigated in teaching me how to sit up, jump downhill, and attempt dressage. "Tayside Sport Horse is a wonderful place for me and my horses. John provides very good coaching in a kind, caring and encouraging way. He really listens to your goals and helps you achieve them. Since I have been at Tayside, I have won numerous championships. Ann is excellent at horse care and knowledge of supplements to help your horse feel and perform its very best. Your horse always has clean waterers, and fluffy bedding. If you want to show, the barn attends a lot of shows. If you do not want to show, that is totally okay also. John is excellent at finding you a horse that works for you and your budget. John helped me find some great horses, Chicago, Miss Q, and Ferris. Kelly, who helps John, is the best there is, for loving your horse and as a groom. It is always a very positive experience going to the barn and riding! I am always happy afterwards."
